TVO Earns CSR-DIW Continuous and CSR-DIW Awards 2024, Showcasing Commitment to Sustainability
18 December 2024Thai Vegetable Oil Public Company Limited (TVO) continues to strengthen its position as a leader in sustainable industrial practices by receiving the prestigious CSR-DIW Continuous and CSR-DIW Awards 2024 from the Ministry of Industry. These accolades recognize TVO’s participation in the "CSR-DIW to BCG Model for Three Pillars of Sustainability" initiative, which emphasizes promoting community economic development and sustainable environmental management. The Company has achieved this by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into its operations in a tangible and impactful way. The awards were presented to TVO representatives, including Mr. Susatha Wangpongpipat, Assistant Managing Director – Production Department, Mr. Tawan Sivanawin, Manager of General Administration (Factory), and Mr. Nitiwut Kongsuntorncharoen, Safety Manager.
The TVO1 Factory has been honored with the CSR-DIW Continuous Award for the fifth consecutive year, reaffirming its dedication to sustainable and consistent development. Meanwhile, the TVO3 and OP3 factories received the CSR-DIW Award for the first time, marking a significant milestone in expanding the company’s social and environmental responsibility across all areas of its production processes.
Mr. Susatha Wangpongpipat remarked on this achievement, stating, “Receiving these prestigious awards reflects TVO’s unwavering commitment to enhancing operations in both environmental stewardship and improving the quality of life for communities surrounding our factories. Every area of the company’s production processes has been continuously improved to align with our long-term sustainability goals, creating value for local communities, stakeholders, and society as a whole.”
